Skin Care
Just a run-through of all the products i use ^_^
Into music used with permission from Dizzy Balloon “i’m Just me”
What I do in case a pimple rears it’s ugly head:
If it’s a really gross looking one, (whitehead…….ew) I usually can’t resist. I can’t leave the house with a major eruption on my face. BUT if it’s not ugly yet, or simply not that bad, it’ll put tea tree oil on it at night, and that helps, and just try to cover it till it goes-buh-bye. Sometimes I’ll use the Clinique acne moisturizer as a spot treatment too! (it has a small amount of Benzoyl Perozide. ^_^)

I usually use honey and sugar to scrub myself head to toe. and I’ve also used asprin (in the past) on a pimple (it’s salicylic acid). I’ve heard avocados are good for you hair and skin….but A), they’re kinda pricey and B)….they’re too yummy lol

Hey, have you ever tried making your own skin products?
I’ve been using this green tea & sugar cleanser I came up with a few months ago- I adore it! Then use an aloe gel, and lately the Philosophy’s Hope In A Bottle (Tester from Sephora!) for moisturizing…and then random mixes of natural face packs. It works better than anything I bought though, never too dry, and much cheaper!
P.s. Woo, Oakland music!

Your skin type is so much like mine–the weird combination type (oily cheeks, dry t zone) and those dry patches around the lips and nose. I use Olay Complete lotion (light, but moisturizing) for the warmer months and their Moisture Therapy creme during the cold.
Oooo, I’m going to try that Burt Bees scrub. Thanks for the vid!

My aunt who is just got out of school studying skin care told me that.. I did not believe her at first, but I thought maybe she is right b/c I thought she probably knows more than me about how the skin functions etc…..i still think I have learned so much just from youtube and blogspots lol…..anyway…I still use the Neutrogena cooling effect spray, over my makeup and its spf 70!!!!

Higher SPF means higher protection. SPF means sun protection factor. What it means is the amount of time you can spend out in the sun with out causing sun damage so, spf 15 means you can stay in the sun 15 times longer than you could with out the SPF, and so on and so fourth. SPF DOES NOT HARM YOUR SKIN!!! where did you hear that????

Love your eye makeup in this video!!!!
Just thought you might like to know that Philosophy makes a lighter version of hope in a jar called hope in a bottle and it’s not as heavy as the original formulation.

hey girl, i would really appreciate if you could answer this question…does higher spf sunscreen have more skin damaging chemicals?…i thought higher spf would mean more uv protection?

I’m LOVING Philosophy products right now. Purity Made Simple, the Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash, Hope in a Jar and their Help Me retinol nighttime treatment. My skin looks sooooooo much better. I just ordered jumbo size versions of the products from QVC - cuz I’m a broke nerd. I’m sure they will last me for like a year!!!
